The Career of Master Plasterer Norio Takeuchi

• 1993 — Placed 5th, National Plastering Skills Competition
• 1995 — Placed 3rd, National Plastering Skills Competition
• 2000 — Awarded the Osaka Prefecture Meritorious Skill Award ("Naniwa Meister")
• 2004 — Awarded the MLIT Minister's Recognition for Excellent Contractors ("Construction Master")
• 2007 — Obtained Vocational Training Instructor License (Plastering & Tiling)
• 2013 — Awarded the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's Award for Contemporary Master Craftsmen
• 2016 — Certified as a Monozukuri (Craftsmanship) Meister by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare
• 2017 — Awarded the Yellow Ribbon Medal

He entered the plastering trade at eighteen, and at fifty-four received the Yellow Ribbon Medal, an honor bestowed by the Emperor.
